Disclosures, sources and fine print
Texting: Texting requires an iPhone plus the free EA AI companion app: on a Mac, which has to stay powered on and signed in to the same Apple ID, or on Windows with the relay app, currently in beta. One-on-one threads only, no group threads, MMS or attachments.
Encryption: Per-tenant AES-256-GCM envelope encryption on message bodies. Thread subjects and sender name and email are not encrypted; they are stored as plain text for search and display.
Autonomy: Nothing sends until you approve it, unless you have told EA AI that a specific kind of message can send on its own. You set those rules per contact type and action and can withdraw any of them at any time. Marking mail read, applying labels and placing calendar holds run automatically by default, and you can turn that off.
Audit log: Delete and update on the audit log are revoked for the application's database role and blocked by database triggers. The application cannot rewrite or erase its own history.
Tenant isolation: Row-level security policies on every table that holds your data. Queries that read or write your data run under a restricted database role bound to your tenant.
Superhuman Go: Superhuman's Go browser overlay can assist your writing inside any website's text fields, including LinkedIn, but it does not connect to those inboxes, cannot read threads, and you still send manually.9
